LAUREN C. TEMPLETON
Founder, Templeton and Phillips Capital Management
Lauren is the founder of Templeton and Phillips Capital Management. In 2001, after several years of professional experience in investments, Lauren launched the firm using the methods learned from her great uncle, Sir John Templeton. Ms. Templeton is co-author of, Investing the Templeton Way, 2008, McGraw Hill. She is the president and founder of the Southeastern Hedge Fund Association, and sits on the investment committee for Rotary International.

Rory Knight is Chairman of Oxford Metrica. Prior to founding Oxford Metrica he served two terms as the Dean of Templeton, the University of Oxford’s business college. He was responsible for Templeton’s overall strategy and direction. Previously Deputy Director in the Swiss National Bank (SNB), Rory’s role included providing policy advice on international financial matters. He is a trustee and is on the executive committee of the John Templeton Foundation.

Scott is portfolio manager and head of research at Templeton and Phillips, prior to joining, he owned and operated the equity research firm Cumberland Capital Corp. Previously Scott was employed as a research analyst with Green Cay Asset Mangement, Nassau. Prior to this, Scott was an equity research analyst at SunTrust Robinson Humphrey. Scott co-authored Investing the Templeton Way. He is author of Buying at the Point of Maximum Pessimism, 2010 FT Press, and co-authored a revised edition of the Templeton Touch.

Dr Deborah Pretty is a recognised expert in analysing extreme events. Deborah has designed a wide range of models, frameworks and policy guidelines to major quoted companies seeking to enhance their reputation and performance. As Marsh Research Fellow at the University of Oxford, Deborah undertook extensive quantitative research in strategic risk and finance. Deborah is director of research at Oxford Metrica.

Dan is a seasoned entrepreneur with considerable experience as a business executive. He has built and operated a number of businesses in a variety of industries worldwide. His portfolio spans, inter alia, Cable Television, Plastics, Dan is a graduate of Georgetown University, in addition he is an Alumnus of the Harvard Business School and the University of Oxford. Dan is an active investor and manages a family office.
